• Your contact details (such as name and email address).
• Details about the characters and story, including a child's name, age, traits, and the plot, themes, and values you'd like included.
• Photos you upload of characters and places, so we can capture a likeness in the illustrations.
• Payment information, which is collected and processed by our third-party payment provider (we do not store full payment card details ourselves).

Information collected automatically:

• Basic technical and usage information when you visit our website (such as device and browser information), used to operate and improve the site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create, review, and deliver your personalized book;
• Communicate with you about your order, including sending you review and approval links;
• Process payments and fulfill printed orders;
• Provide customer support; and
• Operate, secure, and improve our website and services.

3. Children's Information

Our books are purchased by adults, and we rely on you to provide any child's information. By providing a child's name, details, or photograph, you confirm you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or have their permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us information without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will address it.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate, and only as needed to deliver your order. These include:

• Our print-on-demand and shipping partner (to produce and deliver printed copies);
• Our payment processor (to handle payments);
• Our order-form, email, hosting, and database providers (to run the service); and
• The technology providers used to generate your book's content.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety or those of others, or in connection with a business transfer. We require our providers to protect your information and use it only to perform services for us.

5. Photos and Data Retention

We keep the photos and personal details you provide only for as long as necessary to create and deliver your order, and for a limited period afterward. After that, we work to delete the character and place images you uploaded. We are in the process of implementing automated deletion on a defined schedule so that uploaded images are removed reliably; once that is finalized, this policy will state the specific timeframe. You may ask us to delete your uploaded photos and personal details at any time by contacting us, and we will do so unless we are required to keep them (for example, to complete an in-progress order or meet a legal obligation).

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may:

• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information;
• Ask us to stop sending marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us; and
• Exercise any additional rights available to you under the privacy laws that apply where you live.
